Barbara Walters’ Back To “The View” – Vacation is finally over for Barbara Walters. She will be returning to “The View” starting next week for the first time after undergoing a heart valve surgery in May. However, she won’t be around the table with the ladies, the news veteran will be Skyping live for the July 12 episode.

On May 10 of this year, Walters had announced that she would be undergoing the surgery on a faulty valve. The news veteran said “You know how healthy I have been; never missed a day’s work.” She also admitted that she has known of her condition for a while now and together with her doctors, they have decided that this is the best time to do the surgery, since summer is coming up, and she can take a nice vacation during this season.
