The recent Japan car crash is yet considered to be the single most expensive crash of its kind. It involved 14 expensive cars that clashed in a chain effect after the driver of one of the Ferrari’s sped up and lost control. 8 were Ferraris, 3 Mercedes Benz, 2 Toyotas and 1 Lamborghini were severely damaged at an estimate of $3 million cost. Good thing none of the people involved were in serious medical condition.

The expensive car owners were supposed to have a weekend outing when the horrible incident happened. “I was driving at a faster speed than the legal limit. I had attempted to change lanes while driving in the passing lane, but the rear wheels of my car skidded, prompting my car to hit the guardrail,” the driver said. He might probably face 6 months behind bars or get to pay a hefty fine of as much as 100,000 yen ($1,280). He will be charged with negligent driving resulting in injury.

“No expensive car is exempted of any accident, it would all depend of how responsible you drive,” says M. Mitsuya, a local car dealer in Japan, after he learned what happened. Aside from cars, he’s also into boats for sale in Philippines.
