Emmy Nominations 2010 – Emmy is not a lot different from the public and television critics. HBO miniseries about World War II, “The Pacific”, got 24 nominations. Glee and Modern Family are also nominated.

The 62nd annual Primetime Emmys is set to air live on NBC on Sunday, August 29, from 8-11p.m. ET. Jimmy Fallon will be hosting the event.

Glee wasn’t far behind after garnering 19 nominations and is followed by 17 nominations for AMC’s period drama series and also last year’s big winner “Mad Men”. NBC’s glib TV sitcom about TV which is “30 Rock” scored 15 nominations.

HBO’s vampire series “True Blood” made it into the arena as a contender for the best dramatic series. Conan O’Brien’s aborted NBC tonight show also received a nomination for the best music, variety or comedy program.
