America is clearly moving on under the leadership of President Obama. Based on the recently collected data for the jobless rate, it was found out that is has lowered to 9.4% last month from 9.8% last November.
The Labor Department said that there were 103,000 jobs created last month. This was fewer than the expected 145,000 to 175,000. Nevertheless, jobs were created and it is already a blessing. However, according to some economist, this lowered jobless rate doesn’t always mean more jobs were created. Another reason might also be that government have a lowered number of identified jobless.
Good thing that the government was able to provide unemployment benefits to its citizens while they are still looking for new jobs. However, it seems that some are getting used to just receive benefits and didn’t even give any effort to find a job and when their claims is nearing maturity they would demand for an unemployment extension.
The other sectors of the community don’t approve the extension that they want as it would just encourage laziness. Thousands of jobs are being offered out there and it won’t be given to you if you’re not going to apply for it.
