June 5, 1900 marks the birthday of Dennis Gabor, the father of Holography and as a celebration and honor to the man, Google has displayed a new Google Doodle image of a Hologram of Google.

Dennis Gabor is a physicist who had dedicated most of his studies on the input and output of electrons. He then eventually discovered a technique of illusion called Holography, which allows the light scattered from an object to be recorded and later reconstructed so that it appears as if the object is in the same position. He won a Nobel prize for creating holograms and the discovery of Holography in 1971.

We sould really give honor to Dennis Gabor for nowadays Holography has been used in storing, retrieving, and processing information.
