A man was alleged to smuggle 18 baby titi monkeys into Mexico from an airport in Peru.  He was caught on the airport to “wear” 18 Titi monkeys on a girdle inside his coat.  Titi Monkeys are considered to be endangered species and that’s not the only reason why he’s in trouble.  Two out of the eighteen Titi monkeys died while tied to him.

Reports say that he was supposedly planning on putting them on a briefcase but he didn’t want to the monkeys to get hurt on the X-ray machine.  As if the poor monkeys aren’t hurt by his girdle.  These monkeys are also in need of nurturing as they need both their mom and dad for nursing and should only leave their family after 2 or 3 years.
