During a press conference in Germany, the fashion label has announced Saldana’s new starring role as the new face of Calvin Klein Underwear and Calvin Klein Envy. Calvin Klein Envy is the brand’s newest product launch for fall of 2010.

According to the Avatar star, Calvin Klein has always put forth such beautifully executed campaigns. She finds it exciting to be associated with such an iconic, globally recognized brand like Calvin Klein Underwear.

Michael Jansson is a renowned fashion photographer and he took the shots for Saldana’s sexy ads in New York City. Fashion magazines as well as online and on outdoor signage will have their debut in October of 2010.

As Calvin Klein’s newest underwear model, Saldana will follow in the footsteps of steamy screen siren Eva Mendes, who has sizzled in the label’s underwear, denim and fragrance campaigns since 2008.
